President I am a lifetime member of CHJA and have been actively involved with the board for many years. I am involved in many aspects of the horse industry, including CHJA, USHJA, and IHSA. Besides teaching and training horses and riders for local and A competitions, I coach the CU Equestrian Team and run an active sale horse business. I enjoy volunteering on the Board and will continue to look for opportunities for CHJA to move forward in the industry and become and even stronger organization. |

Vice President Equitation Committee As a professional in the hunter/jumper industry for over 25 years, Tracye is interested in continuing to see the sport thrive in this state. As a many time CHJA board member and committee chair, Tracye realizes the need for professionals in this industry to stay active in their state organizations. Being a native Coloradan and a mother of one, Tracye maintains an active role in ensuring the hunter/jumper industry remains the healthy and fun sport that has given her and so many others years of enjoyment. She currently is Chairman of CHJA’s Equitation committee and serves as CHJA’s liaison with USHJA. She believes, with work, CHJA can become a dominant and productive force in the regional and national hunter/jumper scene. |

Director Nominating Committee I have been continuously involved with CHJA activities for over 20 years. During that span, I have participated as a member, competitor, horse owner, board member and show official. Riding, showing, and caring for my horse(s) has provided great personal satisfaction for me for a lot of years. I have had the supervision and guidance of superior horsemen and horsewomen both inside and outside the Hunter Jumper world in this pursuit. I take a great deal of pride in my role as a horse show Steward. This role allows me to participate in an environment that I love and to contribute to the development of CHJA’s young riding talent. CHJA is going through a period of change and adjustment. I would like to serve on the Board of Directors for another term to help retain the traditional values and standards of our sport while adapting to changing economic and technologic forces. |

Director Equitation Committee CHJF I've been involved with CHJA directly or indirectly for about 8 years. I am a USEF Steward who carries a Hunter/Jumper (C-1) and Breed (C-2) card, so I steward both types of shows. I have been honored to officiate at half a dozen National Championships of varied types. I show my own horses - Arabian and Half Arabian - in Western Pleasure events at local, regional, and national shows. I also manage several other shows, including the 2010 CHJA Medal Finals and was co-manager with Tracye Ferguson of the 2011 Finals. I want to continue contributing what I can to CHJA: helping with the Medal Finals |

Director I grew up riding and showing Hunters, Jumpers and Equitation in Colorado. For the past 20 years, I have been a resident trainer at Shiloh Farms in Golden under the business name of Flat Irons Farm. Here, I have been blessed to work with many wonderful students and their horses. During this time, I have also had the opportunity to view the accomplishments of CHJA from the prospective of a trainer, owner, mother and board member. I have enjoyed serving on the board for the past term and believe that the current board has been instrumental in effecting many wonderful changes to the system. I believe Colorado is very fortunate to have an organization like CHJA that supports all levels of trainers, riders and horses. I look forward to the possibility of serving our horse community on the CHJA board in the upcoming term. |

Director I have been involved with CHJA since 1982 when I began showing in Colorado. During the past 8 years I have been involved as the owner and trainer of Three Pines farm, bringing clients to CHJA sponsored shows. I have served on the board of directors as an alternate for the past 2 years, filling vacancies when the need has arisen without hesitation. I have been involved in equestrian sports since I was a young boy in Puerto Rico where I competed internationally as a member of the pre-junior team. I was a member of my high school’s equestrian team for 4 years where I competed on the East coast as a junior rider in the jumper divisions. I began my teaching career in Colorado 20 years ago as the schooling program instructor for Carousel Farms and then at Canterbury Farms with Joann Waring. I now own a successful show barn in Parker. As a member of the CHJA board, I will work hard to make sure that the... |

Director Member Benefits and Scholarships I have been a part of CHJA since 2000. My experiences in the horse industry include countless CHJA year end championships in every division from the Schooling Hunters all the way to the Open Jumpers and just about everything in between. I was also the CHJA Horsemanship Challenge winner and received invitations to ride in the USEF Medal Finals as a junior. As a child I was also heavily involved in 4-H and competed in all of the English AND WESTERN disciplines. I intend to contribute my unique view on the horse industry that I have gained from being a part of different aspects of CHJA (junior, amateur and professional). Some of my clientele are being introduced to the horse world, and I want to ensure it stays just as welcoming, inviting and affordable as it was when I was starting out. |
