At a meeting held on October 10, 2011, the CHJA Board of Directors took action on a variety of rule change proposals. Some of the changes were of a “housekeeping” nature, but many will be of interest to members as they plan for the 2012 Show Season.
Regular Working Hunters are now known as Performance Working Hunters and include High Performance Working Hunters 4’-4’6”, Performance Working Hunters 3’6”-3’9”, and Performance Hunters 3’3”....

At their meeting on April 4, 2011, the CHJA Board approved changes/clarifications to several of the Year End Awards:

  1. The qualifying divisions for the Group I Best Young Child Rider will include Pony Jumpers.
  2. The awards for Group I Best Young Child Rider and Group II Best CHJA Child Rider, Best Beginner Child Rider, Best CHJA Adult Rider, and Best Beginner Adult Rider will be calculated by adding the highest number of hunter points in one qualifying hunter division
