Rule Changes

Several changes to the Year End Awards have been approved by the CHJA Board. The Miss Bessie High Point Jumper Award will become the CHJA Jumper of the Year Award. The award will be selected from among the Group 2 and Group 3 Jumper Division Champions and will be determined by dividing the number of points won in the qualifying division by the total number of points that could have been earned by winning every class in that one division throughout the year. Please note the following correction to the 2013 Rule Book, Page 34, Section E, Amateur Owner Horse of the Year Award. The section should read:
The Benchmark Perpetual Trophy. The Amateur Owner Horse of the Year is determined
in the same manner as the Hunter of the Year, but will be selected from among the Year End
Champions of the Amateur Owner 3’3” and 3’6” Hunters and the High and Low Amateur Owner
Jumper Divisions. The trophy was donated by Jennifer Singer.
