2018 AON/USHJA National Championships:
The USHJA recently announced that the 2018 AON/USHJA National Championships will take place November 13-18, 2018 during The Las Vegas National, CSI4* in Las Vegas, NV. This inaugural, end-of-year event will include:
- National Hunter Championships for Amateur Owner Hunters, Adult Amateur Hunters, Green Hunters, Pony Hunters, Children’s Hunters and Junior Hunters
- USEF/USHJA National Jumper Championship for eight sections of Jumper competition from 1.10m to 1.40m for Junior, Amateur and Open Jumper
- The first ever USHJA Affiliate Championships with fence heights of 2’ and 2’6”
- USHJA National Equitation Championships for riders 14 and under, and for riders 15-17.

USHJA Children’s and Adult Amateur Hunter Championships:
Applications are now open for 2018 USHJA Children’s and Adult Amateur Hunter Championships. For the first time, the Championships will be organized by zone and the event will include both team and individual competition. The Championships for Zones 7 & 8 will take place during Summer in the Rockies IV from June 27-July 1. The qualifying period for Zone 8 is July 24, 2017-April 28, 2018. USHJA Zone Jumper Championships:
Applications for the USHJA Zones 7 & 8 Jumper Championships are open through May 14, 2018. The Championships consist of both team and individual competition and the chance to earn Zone Horse of the Year points in the Children’s and Adult Amateur Jumpers (1.10/1.15m,) the 1.20/1.25m Junior and Amateur Jumpers and the 1.30/1.35 Junior and Amateur Jumpers. The Championship will take place during Summer in the Rockies IV from June 27-July 1. The qualifying period for Zone 8 is July 16, 2017-May 14, 2018. Riders who medal individually at the Championships will have an opportunity to earn the title of USHJA Gold Star Emerging Jumper Rider along with the potential to ride at the USHJA Gold Star Clinic.
