Estes Park Shows a Success

Professional Dan Schiefen teamed with junior rider Anna Lawrence (Mary Sayre, trainer) to win the Left Hand Excavating/In-Stride Inc. Pro-Am Hunter Derby at the Copper Penny show aboard Anna's horse, Sirius Black. "I love this horse," Dan noted. "He goes into the arena, picks up a lick and is wonderful. He was just right on and couldn't have been more fun to ride." Known as "Ben" around the barn, Sirius Black has a long resume of success and a well-known love of bananas. Anna takes him in the CHJA Junior Hunters and the Children's Hunters at the A-rated shows.

Medal Finals are Coming Up!

The CHJA Medal Finals are coming up soon and you know you are going to want to be a part of all the action!

New this year is a crockpot cooking contest to be held Saturday around lunch time. Prizes will be awarded for the best main dish and dessert. Yum! Check out the CHJA facebook page for more information.
