A Call to CHJA Members

In the current climate of unforeseen complexity between fewer and fewer show management companies, we are reaching out to you to further educate you on the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association (CHJA) and its Estes Park Festival shows.

Did you know?     For your membership you receive:

* A monthly newsletter and daily updates on the website and Facebook

* A yearly membership directory

* A yearly copy of the Rule Book

* A charitable Foundation responsible for awarding thousands of dollars in educational scholarships and to charitable causes – 2014 totaled $10,525 alone

* A FREE member benefits clinic each year

* Break away jump cups and defibrillators to all member shows on request

* A highly recognized Medal Finals with incredible prizes which is subsidized by CHJA to the tune of $46,461, 50% above and beyond the fees charged

* A lavish Year End Banquet which is subsidized by CHJA for $29,221, 62% above the ticket prices

While most contemporary horse show management companies are in business for private gain or land acquired, CHJA continues its management of the Copper Penny and Estes Park Festival shows as a symbiotic and benevolent means to enhance the experiences of its membership.  While private management companies pad their own pockets, CHJA, as a nonprofit, utilizes the funds raised from these 4 horse shows to give you, your customers and your families the wonderful member benefits mentioned above plus many more!

Our goal in producing these 4 fun-filled shows in beautiful Estes Park, Colorado is to create relaxed, fun and family oriented shows that you and the entire membership can enjoy. Come and enjoy the beauty of the Colorado mountains and help us to revive these shows as the truly unique, fun and competitive shows you know them to be!  They truly are shows that are not just the same old competitions – but competitions with the exhibitor and family in mind.

CHJA is calling on you for your continued support of these great local horse shows.  Their success determines the club’s ability to continue to subsidize the great and many member benefits you have grown so accustomed to.  Please be a part of helping to sustain this wonderful, benevolent organization!
