Dear CHJA Members,

In an effort to keep the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association growing and flourishing as it has for so many years, the CHJA Board of Directors will be implementing a new fee structure effective for the 2016 show year.

This will be the first change in fee structure since 2011. Many factors go into this type of decision and the bottom line is that this club and all others like it must remain financially responsible to their memberships. This necessary change allows our club to keep pace with the changing dynamics not only in the horse show industry, but with the ever present need to increase the clubs visibility to its members via all forms of communication and social media.

Here’s what your CHJA membership buys each and every one of you!

Monthly electronic newsletters and relevant E Blasts that provide relevant and up to date information and resources.
Participation in the CHJA Year End Awards program for all levels of horse shows culminating in a lavish banquet featuring highly sought after prizes to the winners.
Participation in the prestigious CHJA Medal Finals.
Participation in the annual CHJA Member Benefits Clinic which is free to all participants.
Access to a state of the art website providing the latest industry updates, results, show information, rules, etc.
Inclusion and involvement in the governance of CHJA.
Opportunities for election to the CHJA Board of Directors and the ability to serve on any CHJA committee.
Member services provided by staff of highly qualified industry professionals.

2016 Membership Dues

Individual Membership (all ages): $60

Life Membership: $400

Professional/Business Membership: $60/$400 for Life

Yearly Horse Recording: $40

Lifetime Horse Recording: $135

CHJA ANNUAL AWARDS AND RECOGNITION BANQUET COMING JAN. 9

CHJA's Annual Awards and Recognition Banquet is Sat., Jan. 9, 2016 at the Marriott Tech Center. Registration for the banquet is now open online. You can access the form by clicking here. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for a cash bar cocktail hour featuring the Silent Auction benefiting the Colorado Hunter Jumper Foundation.

Have something to donate? We still are accepting Silent Auction items. Contact Franci Martin at mtngirl09@gmail.com to contribute.

Dinner and presentations will begin at 7:00 p.m. If you are winning an award and want to have your photo included as part of the banquet slide show please click here and follow the instructions to upload a favorite shot. Photographs for the online awards gallery can be submited here. Remember, we do need the photographer's information and permission to use any picture submitted so please get that before you send something.

As in years past, we will be giving every attendee a fun long-sleeved t-shirt as a memento of the evening. We are looking for shirt sponsors. Please contact Val Williams at valfltirons@aol.com for details.
