The CHJA community is heartbroken to confirm the tragic barn fire at Hidden Pines in Franktown owned by CHJA lifetime member, Dana Vollbracht, and was the home base to CHJA Board Member, Sarah Watson, Suzy Balensiefen and Elizabeth Joseph along with their incredible staff, clients and barn family.

Colorado Hunter Jumper Foundation

The Colorado Hunter Jumper Foundation was incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in Colorado in May, 2010. The foundation is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. CHJF was established to provide educational scholarships, support equine charities, provide achievement opportunities, and provide emergency financial support to individuals and families in the Hunter-Jumper Sport.

2023 Scholarships

Educational funds are awarded to assist in carrying on a program of study. Categories of scholarships are:

Category “A” Scholarships:   Awarded to students starting a program of study. Number and amounts determined by CHJF Board.
Category “B” Scholarships:   Awarded to students to continue a program of study. Number and amounts determined by CHJF Board.
 
All of the information specified in the list of requirements must be provided by the applicant. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Additional information may be requested by the Selection Committee.
