I always say you can’t complain about things unless you’re willing to help fix them. I think CHJA does a very good job for its members and the local Hunter Jumper community but I think there are things that can be improved. I would like to lend my time and experiences. I am an adult amateur with a job outside of the horse world, I have two kids - one in college competing in IHSA and one in high school, both ridden IEA. We have shown the local CHJA circuit as well as riding at the USEF/USHJA national level.I see things getting too expensive and prohibiting the entry of new folks and the continuation of current folks. I would like to work with CHJA to ensure the growth and stability of our organization.
