Carleton Brooks is one of the most respected and recognized horsemen in the United States. Whether piloting one of his many nationally ranked hunters to a winning round, showing a young prospect in hunter breeding classes, judging at a major horse show, or working with a wide variety of students and horses as a trainer and clinician, Carleton is a hands-on professional with an exemplary reputation. His very successful career spans over three decades coaching, judging, training, riding and competing. in 2019, Carleton was inducted to the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame and in 2021 he received the USHJA Lifetime Achievement Award. Carleton is committed to the betterment of the horse industry and is a sought after judge and clinician and is very active in the governance of horse sports at a national level. Carleton owner and operates Balmoral Farm Inc. with his wife Traci at multiple Southern California locations
Julie Winkel
Julie Winkel is one of the foremost trainers, judges, clinicians and educators in the country. She's held her United States Equestrian Federation R-rated judging licenses in Hunter, Hunter Breeding and Hunter/Jumping Seat Equitation since 1984 and has presided over many of the country's most prestigious horse shows. Julie is a sought-after clinician who travels the country teaching riding and horsemanship. She has trained and shown hunters and jumpers to the top levels, nationally and internationally. She has many Grand Prix show jumping wins as well as hunter championships throughout her career and continues to compete today. She's also a committed volunteer to the sport and has served on many committees and task forces. Julie owns and operates Maplewood Stables Inc., a 200-acre training, showing, sales and breeding facility in Reno, Nevada.
Pam Harrington
Pam takes a unique and holistic approach to the horse. She combines many different training methods for riders with Pilates, yoga, Gyrotonic, and Physical Therapy exercises. She works with riders of all disciplines and skill levels. Her “Stable Core Method”is a riding and movement method focusing on the balance of horse and rider. She focuses on the body mechanics of the riders as well as balancing the horse. Pam specializes in Scoliosis and hypermobility in riders as well.
Pam Harrington is a lifelong rider. She has studied with talented trainers in many disciplines, including Classical Western Horsemanship, Natural Horsemanship, and Dressage. She fused her love of riding with her 700-hour Classical Pilates training in2008, creating the Stable Core Method. Pam is the owner/operator of Good Life Pilates LLC, a full-service Pilates Studio in Nederland, Colorado. She has worked and studied under Physical Therapists as well as Master instructors. She is also the owner/operator of Faery Star Farm, where she teaches riding lessons and boards horses.
