The Colorado Hunter Jumper Foundation (CHJF) is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 educational scholarships, awarding a total of $24,000 to outstanding members of the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association (CHJA) who are pursuing post-secondary education.

For many young equestrians, success in the hunter/jumper community extends well beyond the show ring. The CHJF Scholarship Program helps students pursue college, university, trade school and other post-secondary educational opportunities, recognizing not only their riding accomplishments but also their academic achievement, leadership, sportsmanship and commitment to the equestrian community.

The 2026 scholarship recipients are:

Group II Scholarship

  • McKenna Merriman Scholarship: $2,500
  • CHJF Scholarship Fund: $500

Group I Scholarship

• Everly Neel - $3,000
  • Reese Cudney Scholarship: $2,500

The CHJF Scholarship Program is made possible through the generosity of donors who believe that education is one of the most meaningful investments that can be made in the future of the sport. Contributions from individuals, families and businesses allow the Foundation to recognize deserving students while helping ease the financial burden of higher education. The Foundation is grateful for the support of CHJA Spirit of Excellence Award Donations, the Hammerman Foundation and those who participate in our annual Silent Auction.

As the cost of higher education continues to rise, the need for scholarship support grows as well. CHJF welcomes donations of any size to the Scholarship Fund, with every contribution directly helping deserving CHJA members pursue their educational goals. Donors who wish to establish a named scholarship or make a gift to the Scholarship Fund are encouraged to support the Foundation's ongoing efforts to invest in the next generation of equestrians.
